Primeleaf Consulting announces Version 2017 for KRYSTAL Document Management System

Today we announce the release of most advanced and versatile version of flagship product KRYSTAL DMS. The all new and improved version 2017 promises exciting new features and is more users friendly, and efficient. The new version focuses on automation for day to day tasks of Document Management.

Each new release of KRYSTAL DMS brings new features and product improvements. The following is a summary of the new or improved features that were added in the KRYSTAL DMS - 2017 release that support the implementation of the paperless office. This version is in line with Primeleaf's commitment to provide the best features to the customers at an affordable price.

Included in this release is:

Two-Factor Authentication (Enterprise Edition Only)

To increase the security of your documents and account, Two-Factor Authentication can be enabled from the Configuration.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a feature that will keep your documents and account even safer in the event someone manages to get access to your password. With 2FA, a hacker will not be able to access your data unless he/she also has a hold of the device (Mobile phone).

Instant content extraction on Upload (Enterprise & Premium Edition Only)

The content / text extraction is now initiated as soon as the document is uploaded. Earlier it full text content extraction was carried out at scheduled interval. Now with this new functionality, users will be able to search contents of the document as soon as it is available in document repository

Document Viewer with Annotation Support

We have enhanced our Document Viewer and now it has capabilities for annotating a document on web browser. Users can draw annotations like highlights, blackouts, sticky notes, ellipse and rubber stamps on the document without disturbing the original document.

Document Reminders (Enterprise Edition Only)

Users can set reminders on documents that require attention later and receive alerts to take action before important deadlines are missed.

Users can set and edit document reminders and also choose whether they want to receive notification via email directly in their inbox.

Recent Searches

When you perform a search in the global search bar, recent search activity appears on your workspace. Only users can see their recent searches. Once user successfully sign-out from the system then this searches are cleared for security purposes.

Sortable List Indexes

Administrators can now define the default sorting for the List Indexes for simple search and data entry.

Enhanced - Scheduled Jobs Management

Scheduled Jobs running in KRYSTAL DMS can now be enabled or disabled by the Administrator. This function allows administrators to control jobs and run only when required.

Enhanced - Sharing of Documents

Users now get notification email as soon as the person with whom the document is shared views it. Users can now also enter their own subject lines for sharing the document. This helps user to know whether shared document is viewed / accessed by the receiver and recipient also get good idea of who shared document.

Enhanced - Events Calendar (Enterprise Edition Only)

With KRYSTALDMS' integrated calendar, it's easy to keep track of corporate's important events all in one place. Administrators can publish these events and are visible to all the users in events domain.

Enhanced - Expiry Notification (Enterprise Edition Only)

Users can now send document expiry notifications to external users as an email message. External users will not have access to the document management system but still get notifications as per the settings done by the administrator.
